Description of Style |
The compositional work is divided into three areas: the "building" of twelve-tone gimmickry by taking account of Josef Matthias Hauer's traditional rules, in particular including the rule of new configurations, which have not (yet) occured in Hauer's traditional playing;
"free"compositions exploiting the potential of logging spontaneously improvised passages through the computer and then re-constructive reappraisal of the obtained material;
compositions made using the "jazz idiom" to jazz themes, whose compositional quality can be measured in the circumstance that it may be more difficult to deliver enough raw materials (in the form of "latent music") within a 16-time theme as a improvisation template for the performers, than having enough space in a thoroughly composed piece, to distribute musical subtance - as "manifest music"- on the whole process.
(What turns many of these separate pieces into entire compositions in aphorismic briefness, whereas there is also partly an attempt to manifest latent music using a repetitive concept.)
